Role Summary:
Provide commercial and financial leadership to the BHGE Digital global sales, product, and financial organizations. Work cross-functionally between finance, commercial operations, and product managers to understand market dynamics, business performance, and execute on defined pricing strategies and tactics for all product lines and sales combinations.

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide commercial and financial leadership to the BHGE Digital global sales, product, and financial organizations. Work cross-functionally between finance, commercial operations, and product managers to understand market dynamics, business performance, and execute on defined pricing strategies and tactics for all product lines and sales combinations.

  • Partner with Comm Ops, Finance, and Legal to ensure standard commercial processes are followed when developing customer proposals for enterprise software deals.
  • Review critical T&Cs and exercise Delegation of Authority to sign off on final proposals
  • Work closely with the BHGE Digital Pricing leader on key pricing initiatives.
  • Understand and analyze local implications on deal structuring (inclusive of financing, payment, tax)
  • Identify key contracting risks and escalate issues to the Subject Matter Experts (Product, Tax, Legal, etc)
  • Establish a regular rhythm with OTR teams to understand lessons learned and adjust the ITO parameters accordingly.
  • Attend early stage customer meetings to develop an understanding of customer's needs, bid evaluation model, and financing strategy for individual commercial opportunities, where applicable
  • Identify the pricing implications of the decisions/strategy set by the SLT and all downstream processes impacted. Escalate critical items through appropriate channels.
  • Serve as the primary BHGE Digital liaison with BHGE Commercial Finance and regional teams
  • Outline and define critical commercial finance requirements for software deals: orders booking criteria, rev rec requirements, cash flow/NPV, margin hurdles, etc.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in Finance or related function

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Must be willing to travel 10% of the time
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
