Role Summary: The Communications Leader for BHGE Digital Solutions will support our Digital Solutions CEO in driving business growth and transformation for BHGE across the oil and gas, and primary adjacent sectors (Power, Aviation, Process Industries.) In this critical role, s/he will help define the vision for the BHGE Digital Solutions business and develop strategic communications plan to execute on this vision.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Digital Solutions Communications Leader you will:
Develop clear positioning for Digital Solutions in the marketplace, driving thought leadership, and outcome-centric messaging for the Digital Solutions portfolio
Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy, collaborating with product line business leaders and teams to target communications by customer, employee, influencer, media and analyst audiences
Build and execute thought leadership programs to condition the market, across the oil and gas, aviation, power and processing industries to drive awareness, consideration and pipeline generation for Digital Solutions offerings
Serve as strategic counselor and advisor to the Digital Solutions CEO, and senior leadership team, while also coordinating with BHGE Communications, regions and broader BHGE functions
Help drive the internal culture of the Digital Solutions business, developing internal rhythms, processes and mining for stories to support a cultural transformation in creating a flexible, nimble, and growing digital industrial company
Partner with Product Marketing and Product Management to develop customer-centric integrated marketing communications campaigns and programs that condition the market and build pipeline
Develop content, campaigns and social communities that drive customer and stakeholder engagement
Establish metrics to measure and report on value being delivered by the position
Develop media relations and serve as the Digital Solutions key media spokesperson where authorized
Drive Digital Solutions web strategy in partnership with Information Technology, Marketing & Commercial as we build our digital offerings and increase revenue marketing efforts
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related fields from an accredited college or university
Minimum 6 years of corporate and/or agency media, communications and/or marketing experience
Minimum 2 years of global communications leadership experience
Travel 25% of the time, as required
Minimum 12 years of corporate and/or agency media, communications and/or marketing experience preferred
Minimum 6 years of global communications leadership experience preferred
Experience working with a flow business model
Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across a complex, global matrix organization
Collaborative team player able to work cross-functionally and in teams
Ability to handle crises and effectively manage multiple simultaneous priorities
Ability to absorb, digest and distil highly technical subject matter into clear and concise content
