Role Summary:

 

The Plant Manager for Completions and Well Intervention Manufacturing & Supply Chain in Leduc, Canada is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our CWI manufacturing operations including, but not limited to, safety, production, purchasing/materials management, manufacturing engineering, supplier development, competitive product costing, quality, and continuous improvement.  He/she has financial and metrics responsibility of approximately 30 employees and approximately 10M in budgetary authority.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

  • Direct and lead the safety culture and strategy to ensure compliance across the plant
  • Collaborate with local sales team to enable business growth
  • Manage plant supply chain metrics and drive visibility and accountability of business goals
  • Drive continuous improvement projects across the organization streamlining shop floor and support function execution
  • Engage with suppliers to ensure we have competitive prices, good quality, and timely deliveries
  • Liaise with local support team to standardize and drive efficiency in Quality, Materials and Purchasing/Sourcing functions
  • Special projects as assigned 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years manufacturing experience. 5+ years management experience.
  • Supply chain management experience including plant leadership with strong working knowledge of safety, quality, lean, leadership, materials management, and procurement functions.

Desired Characteristics:

 

  • Supply chain experience in shop floor management, strategic sourcing, business development, P&L responsibilities, and quality are desired.
  • Key competencies include, but are not limited to mastering the following competencies.  Ensure execution, think strategically, focus on customers, lead courageously, influence others, engage and inspire, build talent, promote collaboration, build relationships, decisive decision making, analysis and problem solving, and apply financial insights.
