Role Summary:
The Digital Communications Manager is a core member of the Digital Communications team, and works in close partnership with BHGE Digital, GE Digital, BHGE regions and the global BHE Communications team to design, drive and execute integrated communications programs that bringing BHGE’s digital strategy to life.

Essential Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive strategist with integrated corporate communications experience, who knows how to translate complex information into simple, clear and impactful communications programs that deliver business outcomes.

Working closely with the Digital Communications leader, this role will be responsible for building thought leadership, creative content and solution-centric storytelling for the BHGE digital portfolio and digital transformation impact across key industry media, stakeholders and platforms. This role will help build and grow a BHGE-wide culture of understanding and support of digital, while generating excitement and engagement across the global BHGE Digital organization. This role will also plan, manage and execute customer experiences, curating digital commercial opportunities through events, boards and ongoing customer engagement programs, working closely with the Marketing organization.

The role reports to the Global Digital Communications Leader and collaborates with stakeholders across the entire BHGE portfolio.

In the role of Digital Communications Manager, you will:

  • Build relationships with core industry stakeholders including media, social and industry influencers and associations
  • Oversee integrated creative content strategy for external positioning and storytelling of software solutions, partnering on digital advertising and promotions
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams for Digital website content creation including creative visualizations
  • Partner with Regional Communications leaders and ABM / Field Marketers for integrated account-based communications plans, developing customer success stories, case studies, testimonials, videos and other thought leadership positioning around GE Oil & Gas software
  • Work with GE Oil & Gas and GE Digital events and marketing teams to drive CxO engagement through creative customer experiences, leveraging targeted events, demos, virtual, and app-based experiences
  • Partner closely with the global communications Culture team to build employee engagement programs to educate and engage employees around the BHGE digital strategy and celebrate success
  • Manage internal communications channel and rhythm, tracking ROI to ensure the best engagement mechanisms
  • Lead digital media strategy, leveraging paid channels to engage with customers including Search Engine Marketing, LinkedIn and trade engagements
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership to ensure alignment to product marketing, demand generation and pipeline objectives
  • Evaluate emerging digital communications trends. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Act as anchor point for the NAM, LATAM, APAC and MENAT teams around solution-based content and regional communications strategic planning for digital


    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing management
  • Minimum 8 years of experienced as a software marketing and/or communications professional with including 8 years of experience in the B2B space

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Travel up to 10% of the time, as required

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience working with complex enterprise software applications; SaaS / PaaS experience a plus
  • Passion for technology and the ability to translate technology capabilities into compelling messaging and storytelling for CxO audience
  • Excellent people and agency management, project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively juggle content strategy and development that spans from highly creative to technical
  • Self-starter able to work successfully across complex matrix of stakeholders
  • Effective communicator in both verbal & written presentations
  • Clear-thinker, good listener, externally focused, problem-solver
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to embrace & drive change in a matrixed environment
  • Experience leading and/or direct involvement in large-scale projects and programs
  • Demonstrated problem solving and creative skills, ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on business, market and customer trends
  • Demonstrated achievement & leadership in commercial and/or marketing roles
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment juggling and executing on multiple priorities
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, strategic agility, manage diversity and drive for results
