Role Summary: Monitor repair operations and ensure products and services are meeting the quality assurance program, customer requirements, engineering specifications and appropriate industry/regulatory standards
Essential Responsibilities: In the Role of Quality Control Inspector you will:
Verify and inspect raw materials, finished products, and vendor processes per drawing, Engineering BOM and customer’s requirements and industries standards
To verify control identification and traceability mark of product during all stages of production and record
Identify, label and generate quality reports as well as non-conformance reports for all defective materials
Interface and co-ordinate with customer’s representative for material hold point inspections
Control and maintain all quality related documents for its retention period
Perform quality inspection for product and services done at suppliers, ensure suppliers are performing per engineering specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures
Ability to use measuring instruments for in-process inspection, ensure all measuring equipment used in the shop are working per its specific requirement
Schedule and calibrate measuring and test equipment, ensure all measuring and test equipment are performing to its intended requirements
Perform first article inspection as require per manufacturing process plan
Perform other quality related activities assigned by Quality control supervisor
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 2 years of experience in the oil field environment
Read and apply blueprints and established procedures
Work overtime, irregular hours, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in mechanical engineering or technical discipline preferred
Wellhead experience a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Prefer API 6A knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
