Role Summary:
BHGE is aggressively pursuing utilizing Cloud technologies to transform our IT landscape. The Cloud Automation leader will help drive this vision by providing the necessary technical vision for the strategy. The Cloud Automation Leader will be expected to drive multiple automation build projects as well as oversee the automation operations.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT leadership on multiple automation build projects. Help prioritize and drive results for the customers
  • Act as a change agent for business processes
  • Drive conformance to system architecture, standards and practices
  • Manage vendor relationship & deliverables
  • Manage budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s)
  • Maintain effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization


    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of information systems design, implementation, or integration)
  • 5 years of hands on Infrastructure automation code development experience
  • 2 years of Cloud Technology hands on experience
  • 5 years of team leadership experience

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Extensive automation experience in PowerShell, Ruby, Chef, Ansible, Python
  • Large Enterprise scale experience
  • Proven leadership skill in both business planning and information technology
  • Extensive experience developing APIs in Ruby or Java
  • Leadership experience running an Agile team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Quality and cost driven
