Role Summary:
 
Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an ALS Monitoring and Optimization Engineer (Artificial Lift) to be based in Midland, TX. 
 
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provides skilled level support for the product line(s), key field product application, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance.
  • Assists with prototype tool applications and new product market introductions.
  • Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory Equipment performance to determine root cause and preventative action.
  • Required to work on alternating shifts.
  • May be lead engineering/technical position in region or area. (Field Service Personnel not included).
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors’ degree, equivalent university degree or combination of education and experience. 
  • 3+ years’ of engineering experience in oil and gas industry.     
  • Extensive analytical skills and abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Strong Computer skills – Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to work long hours in the field as needed.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Previous experience in presenting detailed and technical information.
  • Strong leadership skills.
