Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an Application Engineer (Artificial Lift) to be based in Midland, TX.
ALS Applications Engineers are responsible for the applications in their basins.
They understand the unique fields, formations and production challenges.
They are well versed in Autograph PC (ALS simulation software), and ESP product technologies.
The Technical Managers are responsible for partnering with their US Land and Product Center engineering counterparts to the maximum extent to provide the optimum equipment design for the application.
The engineer is always seeking technical solutions to improve customers run time and seeks to understand the latest developments in their basin as well as the relevant product technologies.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.
Bachelors’ degree, equivalent university degree or combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years’ of applications engineering experience in oil and gas industry.
- Extensive analytical skills and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with customers.
- Previous experience in presenting detailed and technical information.
- Strong leadership skills.
