Baker Hughes currently has an opportunity for a Quality Engineer, to be based within their Quality team in Celle. Working within the Electronic Manufacturing area, the successful candidate will be involved in quality activities related to the production of multi-chip modules (MCMs), in clean room conditions.
Provide technical support and advice on quality issues, working closely with production, development, purchasing teams and external suppliers.
Provide support for multi-chip module production.
Analysis of weak points related to assemblies and components.
Identify and implement process improvement measures
Ensure that all responsibilities are completed to BHGE standards.
Communication with suppliers / manufacturers regarding quality issues.
Creation of test plans related to operational and quality control processes, for electronic and mechanical components
Training of employees
Support other areas of electronics manufacturing, as required
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical or engineering subject.
Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Able to work on own initiative and in a structured manner.
Experience as a Quality Engineer within a technical environment.
Knowledge of electrical engineering, construction technology, or production engineering would be desirable.
Good Microsoft Office knowledge and SAP-R3 skills would be desirable
Experience of quality & process assurance and quality management systems.
