Role Summary:
The Senior Data & Analytic manager will be working with overall EPM, Digital Technology of BHGE & GE Digital Shared Service team to deliver Planning / Essbase application maintenance, stabilization, enhancements, upgrades from functional application owner perspective to gather, understand, elaborate functional requirements, outline proper business processes, coordinate UAT,

Essential Responsibilities:
approve and sign off design, testing, solutioning and roll outs by closely partnering with business stakeholders from HQ, Product Companies and other supporting business functions.

In the role of Senior Data & Analytic Manager you will:

  • Lead functional aspect of Essbase & Planning application activities, including but not limited to gathering functional requirements, design & establish suitable business processes, deliver systems enhancements & upgrades
  • Partner with business stake holders & technical support team to simplify, optimize and automate design & processes
  • Define monthly process changes and deliver knowledge sharing to EPM shared service support team, define & implement operational support mechanism / schedules surrounding Essbase & Planning application by thoroughly understanding business processes & requirements
  • Work closely with GE EPM shared service team to ensure monthly metadata push successful to all applications across Essbase, Planning and SDC, ensure data quality and synchronization across Essbase, Planning and consolidation system
  • Deliver & support close cycle for FP&A and each Planning cycle and submission to GE corporate & BHGE reporting
  • Develop, publish and maintain training materials across Essbase, Planning and SDC; deliver quarterly or demand training
  • Partner with the BHGE EPM & Digital Technology team, GE EPM shared service team to maintain, enhance and upgrade Essbase, Planning and SDC applications; support projects & initiatives defined or determined within Essbase, Planning and SDC applications; review and sign off roll outs post UAT to Production environment of Essbase, Planning and SDC

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Finance from accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive IT or finance IT experience with a strong Essbase & Planning

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Prior experience of tactical involvement in Hyperion / EPM deployments highly beneficial
  • Proficient in project management and / or knowledgeable with Agile concept
  • Prior hands-on experience of global data integration and global project implementation
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), interacting within matrixed organization
  • Ability to adjust to varying priorities in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, prioritize tasks & to meet deadlines
  • Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex challenges and technical issues
  • Previous internal GE working experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Essbase & Planning Administrative activities
  • Thorough understanding of Financial statements, closing and Planning cycles
