Role Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature. She/he will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Software Engineer, you will:

  • Plan software development details by brainstorming with Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses & Product Managers
  • Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimate and justify the estimate with facts
  • Leverage third-party, open-source components to accelerate product development ensuring “proper-use” of respective components
  • Demonstrate the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle
  • Work closely with your peers and keep engaging in a fast pace technical design and development team
  • Be good in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices


    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SharePoint Solutions

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

    Desired Characteristics:
  • SharePoint Certifications a plus, specifically—MCPD and MCSD certifications
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology
  • Good experience of SP solutions along with analysis, design, development, implementation and support of Office 365 / SPO required
  • Minimum 3 years of solid understanding and proven ability with SharePoint2013Office365/SharePoint Online development tools
  • Experience with capabilities of SPO Office 365 and SP 2016/2013 including metadata, content types, permissions and security
  • Hands-on experience in exploring in support, configure, develop, maintain and monitor SP sites in Microsoft SP2013 and SPO Office 365
  • Experienced with exploring and learning new Office 365 services such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business and Office 365 Groups
  • Ability to develop cross-browser compatible website
  • Net Framework and ASP.NET development, Sessions, Request life cycles, Garbage Collection, caching, Remote Event Receivers
  • Hands-on experience in SharePoint Migration Development experience in regard to content, UI and Apps
  • Hands-on experience with in design and development using SharePoint Designer 2013
  • Strong experience developing applications in SP2013 Client side development using CSOM, JSOM and Rest API
