The Performance and Analytics Engineer is Responsible for delivery of Online Performance monitoring, Performance management and Analytics Software Services working with Performance and Analytics team. He/She is accountable of on time Project delivery while working closely with various functions like Project management, Engineering, Services and sales.
The Performance and Analytics Engineer will work with regional team to work on Projects to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within regional team on delivering Online Performance monitoring, Performance management and Analytics Software Services. You will be required to utilize your knowledge on rotating machinery, plant process, thermodynamics and Performance calculations for various equipment in Energy industry to :
-Utilize your industry experience, machinery knowledge, software know-how, to provide Performance monitoring, Performance management and Analytics Software services in terms of implementation and support.
-Utilize Operational knowledge & Provide technical support to Project and services team for successful implementation.
-Interact with customer during meetings to clarify technical queries about the software, solution and requirements for successful delivery of product.
-Provide communication to Product Support and project manager during project implantation stage.
-Travel to customer sites for project meetings, software commissioning and user training.
-Meet Project time lines by planning your work and communicating with Project team on requirements
-Review data collected (P&IDs, datasheets, Design data, etc.) during the Project phase and communicate back to Project team and customer.
-Make recommendations on findings & anticipate risks and prepare with mitigation plans during project execution
-Manage customer expectations and satisfaction for assigned customer projects
-Organize to work on multiple projects at a time.
-Actively involves in various initiatives for product development and growth.
-Support sales team technically to win orders
-Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in process/mechanical engineering or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of engineering experience
-Technical background in Oil & Gas and Power sector with Operations, reliability and/or equipment knowledge
-Experience with Performance monitoring software or Anomaly detection/Analytics software is preferred
-Experience with Reliability or Asset Performance Management (APM)/ Meridium solutions is preferred.
· Strong business acumen and ability to sell GE products to the customer
· Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision

· Prior project management experience is preferred
· FEP program graduate is preferred (internal GE employees only)
