Role Summary:
Lead and control product line related planning and materials fulfilment activities in multimodal environment to support site business case. Plan, control and develop inventory level to meet defined operation plan. Manage resources and activities required for the completion of production plan, including procurement, planning, and expediting, to support manufacturing and Supply Chain metrics.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Interface with production, project management, technology and external suppliers, to schedule the production demand
  • Ensure raw material planning and procurement, based on the project schedule in ERP
  • Define/estimate product line inventory level and T/O based on long term volume case aligned with inventory OP
  • Define actions for inventory reduction and coordination of completion
  • Support OTD with short and long term actions as well as define the necessary service level
  • Define product line based quarterly execution plan and throughput commitment aligned with S&OP as well as Inventory OP
  • Through Planning team set up and monitor control points and alert Project Management and /or other project related functions if any of the points get delayed (long lead and final BOM release, assembly. Test, FAT, shipping)
  • Evaluate and support resolution on all material quality and supply issues. Assist in the development of recovery plans with suppliers for defective of unsatisfactory goods
  • Drive ERP system evolution so that the business can react and cover easier the required new market demands
  • Support Logistics organization and facilitate the relationship between Planning and Logistics in multimodal factory environment
  • Participate in EHS related actions to improve safety in own area, warn those who break the rules
  • Assess the team members' training needs define appropriate training plan for the team as well as drive Planner team growths to identify and develop talents
  • Facilitate the relationship between functions to operate in multimodal factory


  • Master’s/Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Business or Engineering
  • Minimum strong experience in SC/Logistics/Purchasing/Materials Management
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, ERP system)
  • Process oriented and analytical way of thinking
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills both Hungarian and English
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations (planning, warehousing, production control, logistics)
