Role Summary:
In the role of Manufacturing Team Leader- Production Supervision, you will:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate employees to achieve production goals
  • Coordinate all front line activities (i.e. Methods, Production, Control) and provide crossfunctional leadership to assure the meeting of production schedules, customer satisfaction, cost goals, and maintaining the highest degree of standards
  • Confer with management to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
  • Practice sound human relations and communication skills to motivate the work force and achieve desired levels of efficiency
  • Review labor efficiency / effectiveness reports and determine the cause of variances, initiate prompt corrective action
  • Execute operating goals in EHS, Customer Fulfillment, Productivity, and Quality
  • Develop and maintain a positive, respectful work environment with all employees
  • Perform administrative duties in a timely manner including: timecards, labor vouchers, selfaudits, absence reviews, missing time corrections, etc.
  • Effectively communicate business goals and objectives to all employees and management
  • Initiate an open communication pattern to promote exchange of information and ideas with employees, peers, and management
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices to reduce cycles, cost and inventory
  • Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers
  • Improve manufacturing processes to reduce scrap, rework, and drive stable operations

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (OR Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution and minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing)

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Supply Chain or Operations from an accredited college or university
  • Process oriented mindset
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency
