Role Summary:
The Lead Project Manager for the Industrial & Subsea Pillar within the Pressure P&L will lead a small Project Management team whilst also providing their own Project Delivery across both requisition and development projects. The role provides a critical link between the Customer, Sales, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Quality and Product Management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Based at the Leicester facility, reporting to the Pillar Leader, the candidate is responsible for leading the project management for the two pillars, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality. This requires leading and continually developing a multi-disciplinary project team often in remote locations
  • Facilitate project proposal development including scope definition, configuration, cost models and project plans
  • Clear, timely and commercially astute communication with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with the leadership of disciplines including Sales, Sourcing (including Suppliers), Technology & Manufacturing to enable customer satisfaction and deliver on financial targets
  • Act as a change agent in the business with energy, passion & enthusiasm to support business activities and alignment of processes to BHGE, Measurement & Sensing
  • Take responsibility for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency within the team


    • Proven experience in a project management position with track record of achieving business targets for projects up to $10 Million
    • Recognised Project Management Qualification
    • Ideally bachelor degree in Engineering or Science based discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience
    • Experience leading and developing a team
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
