Role Summary:
In this role, the Regional Sales Director will lead a team of Sales Managers and Technical Sales Leads while providing the Europe regional sales leadership for a segment within BHGE’s Measurement & Controls business. With the goal to drive long term growth and customer relationships for the Bently Nevada (BN) business, this role will be responsible for approximately $120MM in annual orders operating plan.



Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Regional Sales Director, you will:


  • Work with the Region Sales Executive, Product Company Team Leaders, and Sales
  • Managers to establish orders and growth targets for the Europe BN business
  • Establish operating plan targets (OP) for Region Sales Team Leaders, Sales Managers and Channels to address the viability of the customer, territory and/or industry segment and achieve overall orders, sales and CM growth targets
  • Lead the sales team to develop unique business plans for each territory and/or industry segment including: key customers, product campaigns, and aftermarket solution strategies leveraging the resources available (key account managers, technical sales managers, aftermarket sales team, inside sales and channel partners)
  • Define regional strategy for the BN business including recommendations of future NPI investments and key marketing and trade show needs within region to grow market share
  • Grow services orders with installed base penetration and support of customers thru strategic commercial and life cycle management solutions
  • Provide management and oversight for the BN Technical Sales/Product Specialists within the region
  • Lead relationship development with the Product Company and Supply Chain to establish improved customer experience, early commercial engagement and overall business development
  • Provide regular updates of operating plan status, key commercial opportunities and other key metrics utilizing business tools including Deal Machine, blue sheets, Tableau, etc.
  • Provide periodic Sales Team Leader and Sales Manager skills assessment and feedback via GE Performance Development to drive productivity and effectiveness of the team

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge and experience
    • Strong experience in technical sales or project leadership
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, as required
    • EU Work Permit if hired in an EU country
